Andra Ofosu is a Director in the US Sales team at Aspect Capital, where she has responsibility for Midwest and East Coast institutional and retail investors. Prior to joining Aspect in 2020, she was part of the Client Relations and Business Development team at Aetos Alternatives Management, based in New York City. Prior to Aetos, Ms. Ofosu was a Vice President in the Hedge Fund Capital Services group of Credit Suisse Prime Brokerage in London. Earlier in her career, Ms. Ofosu was an analyst in the securitized products group at Lehman Brothers in London. Ms. Ofosu is a passionate advocate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Asset Management industry. She founded the Black Hedge Fund Professionals Network (BHFPN) to support the careers of black and brown professionals in the hedge fund industry. Founded in 2019, BHFPN has grown to over 450 members, and centers its activities on three pillars: facilitating the careers of black and brown professionals in the hedge fund industry through networking and career advancement opportunities, driving the pipeline of new black and brown entrants into the hedge fund industry through outreach and education, and engaging with industry leaders and HR professionals to facilitate the sharing of best practices to hire, retain and promote black and brown professionals in the hedge fund industry. Ms. Ofosu is also involved in several other organizations. She is a member of The Economic Club of New York and sits on the Board of Visitors for Colby College. She is also a member of CFA Society of New York and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO). Ms. Ofosu is a summa cum laude graduate of Colby College, where she was a Davis United World College Scholar and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a CFA Charterholder and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Association (CAIA) designation. In 2022, Ms. Ofosu was named an honouree for Black Women In Asset Management's inaugural 40 under 40 list, recognizing black women who are inspiring change in the asset management industry through their leadership.
