Andy Ayim MBE is a long-term, patient investor in businesses that close gaps in society and for the planet. He is also the founder of the Angel Investing School (AIS).

He has lived across three continents, received numerous awards and experienced being a founder, growing scale-ups and consulting large corporates. He understands what is needed to deliver results at each stage of business growth.

Andy serves on the Board of Whering, Translate Culture, Treasure Tress, If We Raise and previously London Tech Week.

Over a decade ago he cofounded Mixtape Madness and then grew his career in Product Management with startups such as WorldFirst, acquired for $700m by Ant Financial to Series C startup Zilch where he was Head of Product Management. In 2018 he was Managing Director at US based VC firm, Backstage Capital where he raised over $2M to deploy into underrepresented founders.

He is passionate and experienced in supporting founders and creating spaces to encourage different ways of thinking about building a startup and lifestyle driven by values and culture.
