Bowale is a senior investment executive with two decades of global experience in developing, financing, and growing sustainable infrastructure projects. Her expertise spans transport & logistics, energy, manufacturing, and industrial zones. She has extensive experience in investment, value creation, and ESG / climate finance across various board and executive roles.

At the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), a multilateral finance institution with a US$12 billion balance sheet, Bowale has been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives, managing risks, and representing the organisation on the board of investee companies. Her leadership has been pivotal in the development, financing, and operations of over 20 climate-resilient projects, collectively valued at over $10 billion. This role underscores her proficiency across the investment value chain, as well as in ESG / climate finance and risk management.

Prior to her tenure at AFC, Bowale gained valuable experience in strategy, technology consulting, and commercial credit with industry leaders such as Accenture, Chevron, and GE Capital. These roles enhanced her strategic and operational capabilities, equipping her to drive innovation and growth within organisations.

Bowale holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Minnesota. Bowale is a Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors UK, underscoring her commitment to excellence in governance and strategic leadership.
