Folaseto Akin-Olugbade
Folaseto is a highly accomplished investor with over 15 years of experience in both developed and growth markets. She has been instrumental in deploying and managing investments worth over $7 billion. She currently manages a leading pan-African hard assets platform within Actis, a global investor in sustainable infrastructure that has raised US $24 billion to date.
Folaseto is a well-respected board member, having co-led investments and served on the Board of Trustees of Nile University of Nigeria. She is also a member of the board investment committee for the University of Leicester. Additionally, she has served on the boards of Sigma Pensions (now Access Pensions) and Mouka Foam and was a board observer for Indorama, the world’s largest single-train urea fertilizer plant.
Before joining Actis, Folaseto worked at DPI LLP, a $1.1 billion private equity fund in London. Prior to that, she was a manager in the transactions team at PwC. She also had stints with KPMG and Afrinvest.
Folaseto holds an MBA from the London Business School and a BSc in Computational Mathematics from the University of Leicester, UK.
