Funmi is an experienced capital market professional and a CFA Charter holder with over two decades of expertise in facilitating public and private capital market transactions across diverse Emerging Markets, including Sub Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and LATAM.

As Chair of the Investment Committee, Funmi provides strategic guidance for sustainable investments and origination. Prior to her tenure at Delphos, Funmi served as an investment advisory member for APQ Global and held the position of head of public markets at Silk Invest Ltd, where she managed sustainable funds at Silk Invest, focusing on Frontier markets in Africa, Asia, and LATAM. With oversight of an investment portfolio covering more than 20 markets, she facilitated investments in esteemed companies engaged in renewable energy, utilities, telecoms, and FMCGs. She has also gained experience from roles at Barings Asset Management, Northern Trust, and Stanbic IBTC.

Funmi is recognized for her proficiency in crafting innovative financing solutions tailored to the specific needs of Emerging Markets corporates. Her expertise includes sustainable infrastructure and climate transition project financing, Impact Investing, ESG Integration and business development.

Funmi earned her Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a Master's degree in Finance from Imperial College London. She has further refined her skills through executive business courses at the London Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, University of Cambridge, and Duke University.
