Julie serves as the Venture Investment Manager at Better Society Capital, a social impact investing firm with a mission to grow the amount of money invested in tackling social issues and inequalities in the UK. Prior to BSC, Julie spent eight years in J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in New York and London, six of which she served as a Philanthropy Advisor in The Philanthropy Centre. In this role Julie advised Ultra High Net Worth Clients and Foundations on their philanthropic strategy, including mission formation, vehicle selection, governance, deployment strategy, and succession planning.

Julie received her BBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and her MPA with a focus on social impact from the London School of Economics. During her Master’s Julie worked at 100x Impact Accelerator, where she partnered with the Founding Director to design accelerator strategy and assist with selection of the first two cohorts. Julie serves as an advisor to an early stage, impact-driven tech company focused on the entertainment industry.
