I have worked in Talent Acquisition over the last 20 years both in recruitment consultancy and in-house. My most recent role was that of Executive Search Partner at a FTSE 100 Financial Services company where I supported senior leadership with their Executive appointments gaining invaluable knowledge on leadership priorities and approaches to talent. Over my career I have supported a number of incredible organisations across numerous sectors hiring high-calibre individuals through my exceptional ability to understand complex requirements and align aspirations with opportunities.

Outside of work I am enthusiastic about well-being and a keen cyclist (road & gravel). I enjoy racing alongside riding recreationally in both disciplines internationally. In 2020 following the murder of George Floyd I took this passion a step further and established Ride for Unity (@ride4unity), to use cycling to bring people together and increase participation in the sport through wider representation. The organisation has flourished and is now a global cycling community. Alongside its primary goal, Ride for Unity has also raised thousands of pounds for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, a charity that supports disadvantaged children globally through sport and education. I am fortunate to be an ambassador for a number of global cycling brands.

Throughout my career I have enjoyed supporting others in unearthing their fullest potential whether it be identifying and promoting their talents or coaching them to secure progressive positions within prestigious organisations.

Taking the fulfilment I derived from my roles further, I completed the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) “Certificate” in 2023 and have commenced the AoEC’s “Executive Coaching Diploma” programme to obtain accreditation from the International Coaching Federation and enhance my skills as a coach. The course completes in November 2024.

I recently launched Chay Executive Coaching to support the development of leaders seeking high performance authentically through Empowerment and Elevation in the pursuit of Excellence. I believe that through my unique blend of experience and support I can increase the diversity on Boards in the UK and indeed globally for years to come.

I volunteer with AGE UK weekly and am a Board trustee of AGE UK Croydon. I am also the proud father of three children and Carlito, my kitten. Outside of work I enjoy travelling and personal development in a wide range of areas including psychology, philosophy, photography, motorbiking and cookery.
