Lindsey Stewart is the Director of Investment Stewardship Research on Morningstar’s global manager research team, where he analyses asset managers’ ESG policies and practices with a focus on active ownership strategy. He joined Morningstar in 2022 from the Financial Reporting Council where he was Head of Stakeholder Engagement. Prior to that, his career spans over 20 years in investor relations consulting, equity research and technical financial reporting communications at KPMG and Makinson Cowell. Lindsey is a CFA charterholder and Chartered Management Accountant, and he is a member of CFA UK’s Black Professionals working group.
