Nia White is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Arc Advisors, a strategic advisory firm providing advisory and placement services to a select group of alternative asset managers?. Prior to Arc, she was a Partner and the Head of Investor Relations and External Affairs for Astra Capital Management, a private equity firm specializing in communications and tech services investments. She previously raised capital for two firms, GP Investments and Actis, which made private equity, infrastructure, and real estate investments across the emerging markets. Prior thereto, Ms. White was the Co-Founder and Partner of MAP Capital, a private placement firm, and Serenity Hospitality Group, a branded entertainment company. She began her career at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division as an Associate in High Yield and was promoted to Vice President in Principal Finance. Ms. White serves as an Advisor to the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) and on the boards of New Markets Investors, a community development corporation, and The Bakari Foundation. Ms. White received a B.S. in Economics and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. White resides in Potomac, Maryland, with her husband, Darren, and daughters, Drew and Dylan.
