Founder and CEO, Adasina Social Capital
United States
Rachel J. Robasciotti is the CEO and Founder of Adasina Social Capital, an investment and financial activism firm that serves as a critical bridge between financial markets and social justice movements. Rachel’s passion for social justice investing is rooted in her background as a Black, queer woman and growing up in a community that struggled for safety and financial security within a rural town that was largely segregated. Among her many contributions to the industry, Rachel has been called upon to testify before the United States Senate regarding the state of financial markets.

She is also regularly featured in the media, including The New York Times, Bloomberg, CNBC, Forbes, and Financial Planning Magazine, as a leader in the financial industry for integrating issues of racial, gender, economic, and climate justice into investment portfolios. She was recently honored with the 2023 InvestmentNews Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Award, a testament to her dedication to greater DEI efforts in the investment industry. She is an oft-requested speaker at renowned industry events including Schwab IMPACT, Decolonizing Wealth Fund, and Future Proof. Moreover, she has garnered acclaim for her expertise through invitations to serve as a guest lecturer at venerable institutions including Harvard University, Wharton School of Business, Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and others.

In addition to her work at Adasina, Rachel is a co-creator of the Due Diligence 2.0 Commitment, an effort to transform the investment industry and increase capital flow to Black, Indigenous, and people of color asset managers. She served as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Resource Generation, is a Board Member for One Fair Wage, and advises the Indigenous Women’s Investment Fund for Native Women Lead.
