Raisa is an impact investment professional specializing in emerging markets. Raisa currently is an Investment Executive at British International Investment, the United Kingdom’s development finance institution (DFI). At BII, Raisa has been working within the Private Equity Funds and the Fund Solutions teams covering Africa, South and Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. Prior to BII, Raisa worked at FinDev Canada, Canada’s DFI, within the Financial Institutions and Funds team covering Latin America, the Caribbean and Sub-Saharan Africa. In parallel to her career, Raisa has actively pursued volunteering opportunities as demonstrated by her strong engagement in the Prince’s Trust, and CFA UK.

Raisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematical and Computational Finance from Concordia University, a Master of Applied Finance degree from UQAM and Sciences Po Paris, and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) title.
