Sarah Wiggins
Sarah Wiggins joined HSBC as Vice Chair, Global Banking in April 2022. She has responsibility for growing the UK investment banking franchise. This follows a 30 year career at Linklaters, most recently as a senior Partner within the M&A team. Sarah held a number of leadership positions within Linklaters including serving as a member of its Executive Committee, the firm's first female Head of the London Corporate Practice and co-head of its Crisis Management and ESG groups.
Sarah has been a regular board room adviser specialising in complex cross-border deals for multi-nationals across many sectors ' typically headquartered in the US and the UK. During her career, Sarah has advised on M&A transactions with a combined value of more than US$300bn. In addition, Sarah has significant expertise in high profile crises, regulatory and other investigations and has led large cross-border multi-disciplinary teams on such matters. Sarah is passionate about diversity and inclusion issues, and was a member of the Steering Committee of the 30% Club during its early years and was a member of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales Advisory Council for Step Up 2 Serve #iwill between 2014 and 2016.
